About the Study
LinkUp DuPage is a county-wide study conducted by DuPage County and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) to improve demand response transportation services across DuPage County. Demand response transportation services are flexible public transit options where vehicles operate based on passenger requests rather than fixed schedules.
DuPage County is home to numerous township and municipal demand response transportation services; however, gaps in transportation coverage remain. Since the level of service varies across the County, neighbors across the street from each other might have different options available to them. LinkUp DuPage will serve as a step in identifying opportunities to improve services and increase transit access across the County.
